10am-5pm Friday to Monday in Spring and Autumn (Other times by appointment).
Things to be aware of:
There are several unfenced dams and ponds across the gardens. Please keep children under supervision at all times.
Snakes are sometimes encountered during spring, summer and autumn, and are a valued part of the natural ecosystem here. All Tasmanian snakes are venomous.
Please wear solid shoes while walking the trails, and watch where you put your feet. If a snake is encountered, slowly retreat. Do not hassle the animal, or attempt to remove it.
The woodland areas are subject to wind damage, so please keep to open areas if the weather is windy.
The trails are formed but uneven. Watch where you put your feet, wear shoes with grip and walk carefully to avoid falling.
Dogs are permitted in the main garden area only – always on a leash. Please keep your pets in the car while walking the trails.
Keep to designated trails.
Do not pick the flowers or take cuttings.
